Abstract
The Internet-of-Things (IoT) concept can be applied to smart homes in a specific way. When it comes to setting
up a network for your smart home, two of the most important considerations are safety and privacy. A
potentially dangerous smart house can divulge information about its owners' personal habits and routines,
raising serious security concerns. In this article, we'll look at how to keep your smart home safe from intruders
while also protecting your privacy. Classifying smart home services is done in accordance with the underlying
device-to-device and cloud interaction. There are many existing security solutions that can be adapted for a
cloud-assisted home network, such as distance-bounding protocols such as ISO-KE, TLS, Schnorr, Okamoto
Identification Scheme (IS) or Pedersen commitment schemes.
