VIEWS OF YOUTH STUDENTS ON SOCIAL PROBLEMS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY

Abstract
Social problem is any condition or behavior that has negative consequences for large numbers of people and that is generally recognized as a condition or behavior that needs to be addressed. Now a day due to the complexity of our society the youth are facing some social problems. Through this paper the views of youth students on social issues are evaluated Descriptive survey method has been used in the study. For the present study 30 students are selected as a sample from Goalpara College and West Goalpra College of Goalpara district by using stratified random sampling method. One self-constructed questionnaire is used to collect the necessary data for the present study. From the study it is found that our youth students are aware about the various social problems which are prevailing in our society and those problems need to be address.
