Abstract
This article reveals Uzbekistan's potential for stability in Afghanistan. The Uzbek factor is put forward as a decisive factor in solving the problem. The analysis of the possibility that the title in Uzbekistan is a significant
part of the ethnic composition of the population of Afghanistan, is based on religious factors, and historical and cultural factors. At the same time, the prospective megaprojects (Trans-Afghan Railway, Trans-Afghan Gas Pipeline) will have a positive impact on the Afghan economy and social life.
