Abstract
Assorted investigations are going on by retelling the Indian myth with the eyes of Indians and not western which is giving it an occidental view. In the similar context Dev Dutt Pattnaik’s Dev Lok and his literal journey paves a new paradigm shift in the Indian mythology. His work Indian Mythology: Tales, Symbols, and Rituals from the heart of the Subcontinent gives a detailed analysis of the western eye.Devdutt Pattnaik graduated in medicine and is currently an author, Indian mythologist, and a versatile speaker of Indian mythology. He was the speaker of the first TED conference in India in the year 2009.
