The evolution of android mobile phone has influenced the Social Media Applications (SMA), with the availability of 4G technology. SMA has become most popular among people for building relationships and to share their views. Children and adolescents of different age have entertainment in making friendship with shared interest. Although there is an opportunity to learn in a collaborative way like building knowledge,sharpening their skills, there is a risk on without knowing the digital literacy, sharing personal contents to the friends of SMA will become a treat. While some of the parents are digital savvy, who can able to track their children, whereas many are not familiar with their children activities over social media due to illiteracy on SMA. The transformation of children and adolescents dietary patterns is observed with advertisements of foods over SMA, in addition to that the frequency and time of using SMA have an impact towards the education.
