Abstract
Ventilator associated pneumonia is one of a common type among hospital acquired infection. It may occurs when the patient take help to ventilator for the artificial breathing. the (breathing) mechanical ventilation maintain, by means of an endotracheal tube or tracheostomy. The study was conducted with the objectives to assess the level of knowledge and attitude, to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching module, to associate the pre test level of Knowledge and attitude with selected demographic variableand to correlate the level of Knowledge with attitude regarding prevention of ventilator associated pneumonia
