The present paper delves deep into the concepts of beauty-myths, motherhood and gender in the select fairytales and analyse how these terms work as an ideology and affect the minds of the children. In the fairy-tales they are innocuously presented and hide their adverse impact on the minds of the children. So, right from the childhood days children are made to internalize these ideologies and when they grow up their minds are already conditioned. So one cannot consider these tales as innocent.
