The statement of the present study is “Study Habit among Higher Secondary School Students from Nagaon Town of Assam.” Based on the problems of the study objectives framed are: (i) To find the prevalance of Study Habit among the Higher Secondary school students from Nagaon Town of Assam.(ii) To study the significant difference between Study Habits of Male and Female Higher Secondary School Students from Nagaon Town of Assam. In present study Descriptive method is used as it aims to accurately and systematically describe a population, situation or phenomenon. It is an appropriately choice when the aim of the research characteristic, frequencies, differences. Simple random sampling technique is used to collect the data from 197 samples. Tools used in study were :(i) study habit questionnaire developed by the researcher. The result found that there is no significant difference between the study habit of Male and Female Higher Secondary School Students from Nagaon Town of Assam.
