Abstract
In Colombia, farmers' marketplaces are buildings or spaces for the direct marketing of agricultural and livestock products from the farmer to the final consumer; the products marketed include vegetables, legumes, fruits, aromatic herbs, beef and poultry. This commercial activity generates large amounts
of organic waste, which in its management process requires a strong training process with the generators at the source, i.e. at the time of marketing, in order to minimize its generation and improve its management, disposal and delivery for collection.
