Abstract
Vitiligo is an acquired chronic depigmenting disorder of the skin characterized by the development of white macules resulting from a loss of epidermal melanocytes. It causes no fatalities but significant psychosocial consequences. There are many treatment options. The choice depends on the extent, distribution, and rate of progression of the lesions and should be started as early as possible to maximize efficacy.Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a high-concentration autologous plasma solution prepared from blood. The platelets contained in PRP release a variety of growth factors, adhesion molecules and chemokines.Platelet-rich plasma has been tried earlier in the treatment of vitiligo with controversialresults. This article aimed to review the role of Platelet-Rich Plasma in the Management of Vitiligo
