Abstract
The quality and safety associated with the delivery of nursing care provided to patients is directly tied to the competence of graduating nursing students. As they prepare to enter the workforce, graduating nursing students transit from classroom to clinical settings. Multiple challenges might occur at the same time during a transition. Several roles change from student to registered nurse, including job requirements, expectations, and work responsibilities. This study's most important goal is to assess the clinical competencies and management capabilities required for role transfer by graduates of the School of Nursing, College of pharmacy and nursing, University of Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman.
