Although most people recognize that investing in stock could generate higher returns, the stock market participation puzzle is still happening in Malaysia today. Despite this, this study seeks to provide new insight into the intention to participate in the stock market by adopting and adapting the components of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT) to explain the stock market participation intention. A total of 385 respondents were collected using the convenience sampling method.
