Abstract
Electricity is a convenient and controllable form of energy used every day to power various
appliances that provide light and warmth to man-made dwellings. Electricity is a secondary energy
source, meaning it is generated from the conversion of primary sources of energy, such as fossil fuels
(coal, natural gas and oil), nuclear power and renewable sources (wind, hydro, solar, geothermal). A ratio
is a simple arithmetical expression of the relationship of one number to another. According to Accountants
Handbook by Wixon Kell and Bedford, a ratio is an expression of the quantitative relationship between
two numbers. This paper shows the ratio analysis of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd.
(CSPDCL) a study report.
