Abstract
In India women empowerment through entrepreneurship is very vital for making development strategy as we could see that the role played by women as an entrepreneur is gradually expanding. Women entrepreneurs are not only enhance their living standard but also contributing towards the development of the country. Development includes economic, social, and political components, and it would be incomplete without the development of women, who make up almost half of the population. As a result, women's participation in economic activities is critical for the development of a healthy nation.1The government plays a vital role in empowering women through entrepreneurship. Both the central and state government have set up various institutions to promote entrepreneurship among women. The inequalities among men and women have forced the government to look over the issue related to women by introducing different schemes which will be helpful in fighting with the atrocities against the women and uplift their spirit. A sample of 50 women entrepreneurs both from rural and urban region of Hyderabad have been selected for the study. The present study “role of government in empowering women through entrepreneurship: a precise study of Hyderabad” attempts to sketch the role of women entrepreneurs in transforming the living standard of women
