Abstract
In today’s business world, Artificial intelligence (AI) has gained popularity in many and different types of organizations.
Now, it is also used by HR department for managing, engaging,retaining and developing high potential pools. This research
paper elaborates on what are thepractices of talent management and how AI is used in these practices for achieving
implementingand maintaining these practices. The data has been collected from the HR managers and seniorbank managers
of the prime banks in India (State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, HDFCand ICICI) in Jammu city (North India). The
scale has been purified and validated with the helpof exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis
(CFA) respectively. This study reveals that talent management is consist of six practices i.e. talent attraction, talent
identification, succession planning, talent engagement, talent development and talent retention. Further, this study also
reveals that managers are adopting various technologies for conducting all practices of talent management. It also highlights
managerial implications and limitations ofthisresearchforfutureresearch.
