Abstract
Usually, when we talk of corruption, we mean instances when political decision-makers are involved. When state power is misused, corruption at its ultimate level occurs. In order to demonstrate how corruption affects various sorts of regimes, the extractive and redistributive theories of corruption are presented in this essay as two opposed points of view. The two competing theories of corruption—extractive and redistributive corruption—are discussed in this essay as examples of how corruption impacts different types of regimes. This study examines various definitions of corruption as well as the classification of bribery, theft, fraud, and extortion. The essay also discusses current endowment funds and anti-corruption initiatives. Democracy is one of the many variables that may affect anti-corruption tactics
