Mobile APP Giftedness Early Identification for Early Children: Is it Necessary?

Abstract
The use of the mobile application can be the good tool to identify giftedness in early childhood for teachers and parents. The absence of this application model encourages researchers to develop these applications. The purpose of this study is to report of finding from need analysis about Mobile application as the basis for the initial development of giftedness identification. In the study, there were two data collection techniques, firstly a survey using a questionnaire to quantitatively measure the need for a mobile application tool, the secondly was a semi-structured interview. Questionnaires were given to 100 respondents, consisting of 50 kindergarten teachers and 50 parents of children with preschool children. They were recruited using snowball sampling. Furthermore, semi-structured interviews were conducted on 10 people who had the consent to giftedness, they are experienced kindergarten teachers, developmental psychologists, kindergarten managers and parents of kindergarten students. The findings of the survey and semi-structured interviews show that talent is not easy and simple and applicable instruments are needed so that kindergarten teachers and parents need an instrument, especially in the form of an application car. The advantages are very practical; can be used anytime, friendly, accurate and informative. It can be said that the existence of an application is very much needed by kindergarten teachers and parents because it will help identify talents quickly and in real-time
