India is the country with large number of cattle and buffalo population. India is also one of the leading producers of milk in the world. The study is aimed to find the relationship and differences among the milk production of the cattle breeds and buffalo breeds. The research uses the secondary data for the analysis. The data contains the milk production details of Cattle and Buffalo breeds of all the states and union territories in India. Analysis is done on the data using SPSS. The study will help dairy farmers to choose the breed for better production of milk.
