Marketing Strategies of Organic Vegetables for Augmenting Sales Revenue in Tribal Areas of Maharashtra

Abstract
The tribal growers of organic vegetables traditionally face lesser marketability of their produce and hence generate lower
revenue. This research focuses on the feasible reasons being good the marketability that is bad of produce whilst the
hurdles they face in marketing their products. The analysis seeks to create forth the approaches for conquering those
shortcomings and recommending the push that is vital to realise higher earnings from organic veggitables. This reasearch
is conducted on information that is compiling diverse sources like Research journals, State reports on Tribal affairs and
respective districts’ ministries sites for that function. The database comprises 30 blocks being tribal 5 tribal districts of
Maharashtra, namely Amravati, Dhule, Gadchiroli, Nandurbar and Nashik. The analysis usages graphical and methods
being analytical as for instance pie, club maps and regression analysis to analyse the knowledge with tools such as for
example Excel, SPSS. It's found that the cultivation of organic veggies among the list of tribals is more individualistic
and informal in nature, which are often vunerable to the possibility of normal catastrophes and market uncertainties. Most
of the farmers transport their produce by foot (63%). Share of motorized automobile like bus, truck, motor Van is fairly
low (3%). Tribal growers into the districts being selected a restricted market involving primarily city haats, roadside
passer-by and husehold that is restricted. Greater advertising through arranged areas such as cooperatives could provide
them an improved price and greater risk-sharing. E-commerce websites could furthermore raise the period of market and
increased income. Infrastructure like Cold storages to safeguard the produces advances the shelf-life associated with
produce that is make sure that is organic marketability, which regularly somewhat plays a component in higher yearly
sales of the veggies. The tribal produces provided separately to local haat, nearby households lack some great benefits of
packaging and branding, which diminishes the product range for their value enhancement.
