MORAL LEADERSHIP STYLES AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT: A BIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW

Abstract
Identifying organizational commitment as cardinal to the success of an organization. This study presents the relationship of moral leadership styles i.e., authentic, ethical, and servant leadership style vis-à-vis organizational commitment. The study contributes to the literature by exploring the development of research in the domain by identifying most productive journals, authors, and intellectual frameworks using keyword analysis. To pursue this aim, bibliometric techniques are employed to analyse 287 articles published from 1987 to June 2020. It is observed that the research in the domain picked up from 2007 onwards. Leading journals have published the work of renowned leadership scholars on the subject. Co-citations of authors indicate an
intimate link between the scholars suggesting cooperative participation towards the development of knowledge.Keywords analysis presented an overview of the research conducted so far and pointed to the evolving themes
for future research in the area
