The teaching method is understood as the method of joint activity of the teacher and students aimed at achieving a certain goal in the educational process. In this article, the characteristics of the development of history teaching methodology in accordance with human development are analyzed based on local and foreign sources. The classification of teaching methods is sometimes based on logical operations such as analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, and the characterization of teaching methods as inductive, analytical and other logical methods is justified.
