Life is what you make it is an interesting novel written by Indian writer Preeti Shenoy. It is considered as a motivational and inspirational work. So the paper aims to analyse the theme of love and pain through a psychological study of this novel. Everyone in their life face various kinds of problems and many times life make us to stand at such a turn, where we cannot even imagine. In this story, the
protagonist, Ankita Sharma also faces certain problems and turning points which affect her life badly.
