Aim : To assess the incidence of mesiodens in Chennai based dental college. Introduction:Mesiodens is the supernumerary teeth between the two central incisors in the premaxillary region which contributes to various dental issues such dentofacial impairment, malocclusion and sometimes cyst development. In the current study,this condition is focused on its prevalence with regards to age, gender and also the frequency of treated and untreated patients were evaluated.
