Abstract
Luxation wounds are perhaps the most predominant sort of dental wounds in deciduous dentition. The effect of these wounds may not exclusively be restricted to the deciduous teeth yet may likewise affect the formation of succedaneous tooth buds bringing about different ominous complication s.The purpose of this study was to analyze luxation injuries in children between the ages of 6-18. A total of 59 records were obtained from DIAS(Dental information archiving software) exclusive to saveetha dental college and analysed.This research is needed to understand the importance in treating luxation injury in pediatric patients and also to understand the complication to be faced if not treated in time. The results revealed that most pediatric patients were males(75.44%), this shows that male children are more involved in physical activities than females. From the study it is clear that there is a high incidence of luxation injuries in males of age 13-16
