Abstract
Humanism has been a central issue in cognitive and intellectual circles, with considerable debate erupting over its effectiveness and practical utility. Opinions are divided between those who oppose it, arguing that it is ineffective and merely a faith-based and emotional movement disconnected from reality and therefore must be overcome. Meanwhile, those who defend it see it as having a strong presence in opposing and resisting occupation and all forms of exploitation and injustice to which contemporary humanity is subjected. Humanist thinkers believe that its role in life has increased after its cross-pollination with criticism, which has given it greater effectiveness and brought it into the realm of practice. Thus, humanist criticism has become open to all components of culture, unrestricted by the confines of textuality. It seeks to dissect reality and various systems and fields of thought, exposing their internal structures to reveal their truth and uncover what is unspoken within them.
