Abstract
This paper designed and implemented a real time FPGA based four-lift controller with smoke detection system which can be used for a lift with any number of floors, with specified inputs and outputs which makes our life easier and we can move to different floors very faster and allows us to transport goods with ease and helps us feel very comfortable .When someone enters on lift with smoking then the controller notified that by using MQ2 gas sensor and external and internal LED also turns ON. PIR sensor is used in this designed lift controller system to detects person entry inside the lift and lift door will be automatically opened and closed. FPGA switches are used to select a particular floor. LCD is used in this system to display particular floor number. Xilinx Vivado 2015.2 tool is used for designing this four-floor lift system and FPGA Artix7 Basys3 board is used to implement it in real time.
