Woman has emerging as entrepreneurs day by day.This study is to explore thepush and pull factors affecting the women to do a business, with the help of demographic variables in Thiruvarur district particularly in Thiruthuiraipoondi.Tamilnadu.Framed questionnaire was used in data collection from 385 women entrepreneurs with the help of District Industrial Corporation. The simple mean analysis was used to find out the push and pull factors and Regression analysis was used to measurethe influence of demographic variables.
