Humans have a built-in capacity to recognise and respond to the feelings of others. We must, however,overcome the challenge of emotion detection in order to construct a humanoid "robot" that can connect and emote with human partners. A computer's capacity to understand human emotions has several practical uses in the real world. People who are unable to care for themselves may benefit from the use of therapeutic robots. An individual patient's present and changing mental state of mind might be used to modify patient care and engagement techniques by these technologies
