Abstract
A paradigm for assessing how e-commerce affects distributors' activities in the semiconductor business for four distinct product categories—differentiated, architectural, technological, and complex—is presented in this study. Respondents in the distribution sector were surveyed using a questionnaire and the purposive sampling technique. The study's findings indicate that the roles' salience is rising. Furthermore, e-commerce is likely to displace traditional wholesalers, especially for less standardised goods like intricate, technological, and architectural items.
