Abstract
The recent uptick in digital literacy has resulted in a flood of investment into e-commerce companies, leveling the playing field for new players to establish a foothold while churning out innovative patterns to disrupt established ways of doing business. While Forrester predicts faster growth in other Asian markets, the e-Commerce market in India is smaller overall. To learn about the breadth, depth, and development of E-commerce in India in light of the trends that drive this industry's expansion, this study employs a qualitative research methodology and provides a literature review. This study adds to the growing body of evidence that India's e-commerce market will expand rapidly and steadily in the coming years. According to these studies, retailers, manufacturers, consumers, and wholesalers can all benefit from participating in the online marketplace.
