Abstract
This research aimed to identify the barriers experienced by female employees towards career growth in the telecommunications sector in Dhaka, Bangladesh. More specifically, this study examined the glass ceiling'sinfluence, pay gap, and gender discrimination towards career growth. This quantitative study used a survey method to collect data from 200 female employees. Based on convenience sampling, the questionnaire was distributed by hand. The findings showed that gender discrimination had the highest impact on career growth. The glass ceiling
effect also had a significant effect on career growth
