This article analyzes the issues of educational and financial development of higher education, the analysis of global development trends, the implementation of work on the remuneration of professors, teachers and staff of higher education institutions. The article also envisages that students will be able to carry out postgraduate activities, that is,to be trained as specialists in various organizations. The financial situation of higher education institutions (on the example of Urgench State University) after the transition to a self-financing system and its impact on the quality of education has been scientifically studied
