Development of Animation-Based Learning Media in Children's Literature Teaching Course in Unimed, Indonesia

Abstract
This research aims to know (1) to know the lecturers needs and students for animation-based learning media (2) describe in children's literature teaching courses (3) testing the effectiveness of animationbased learning media in children's literature teaching courses. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. Where in it there are 7 research procedures, namely needs analysis,identification of resources, identification of product specifications, product development, validation,product and product testing. The results showed that animation-based learning media was effectively developed in children's literature teaching courses. The results of the material expert validation for the content aspect were in very good qualification (85.3%), the material expert validation results for the presentation aspect were in very good qualification (85.9%), the material expert validation results for the language aspect were in very good qualification (86.2%) and the results of design experts are in very good qualifications (86.1%). The results of the effectiveness test of the learning model show that between the learning outcomes of the Children's Literature Teaching subject before using animation-based learning media of 70.5 and after using animation-based learning media of 84.7. For this reason, animation-based learning media is effectively used in the Teaching of FBS Unimed for the 2021/2022 academic year
