Abstract
Purpose:In this study, attempt to construct a problem solving model for enhancing integration of processes skills in defining operationally in physics at a higher secondary level. It is the goal of this study to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem Solving Model in improving Integrated Process Skills of defining operationally in Physics at higher secondary level. Methodology:To evaluate the effectiveness of this model, 114 students were chosen for the study. It was determined through the use of appropriate statistical techniques that the data was analyzed in order to examine the significance of hypotheses formulated within this context. For the analysis of data, the major statistical techniques are the computation of the coefficient of correlation, the critical ratio, the delayed post-test, and the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). During the course of the research, it was found that significant differences exist between the experimental and control groups with regards to the posttest scores for integrated process skill of defining operationally in physics at the higher secondary level.Findings/ Result:Studying the Problem Solving Model in physics at the higher secondary level for enhancing the integrated process skill of defining operationally is more effective than the traditional method currently used in higher secondary schools in Kerala.Paper type:Analytical Research Paper
