DESIGN OF MULTIBAND BAND COPLANAR WAVEGUIDE “T” SHAPED ANTENNA FOR KU BAND AND THE COMPARISON OF VSWR WITH RECTANGULAR PATCH ANTENNA

Abstract
Aim :The objective of the research is to construct an Innovative Multiband Coplanar Waveguide T-shaped antenna and VSWR is compared with Rectangular Patch Antenna. Materials and Methods :The construction is done using High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) version 13.0 software. Two groups are included in this research work, Innovative Coplanar Waveguide T-shaped antenna (N = 10) and Rectangular Patch Antenna (N = 10). By keeping alpha error-threshold value 0.05, 95 % confidence interval, power as 80%, the samples were collected. Result :The proposed antenna has a VSWR of 1.7, 1.1 and 2 at 13.3 GHz, 15.2 GHz and 16.2 GHz as compared to the rectangular patch antenna which has 3.7, 5.2, and 8.4. The significant difference between the two groups is found to be 0.008. Conclusion :In this research VSWR of Innovative Coplanar Waveguide T-shaped antenna is significantly less compared to Rectangular Patch Antenna
