Abstract
A detailed regulation of the air traffic controller training standards, programs, and learning objectives has been established in order to ensure synchronized training and to provide safe and efficient air traffic flow. These
standards should increase the supply of air traffic controllers and enhance overall air traffic safety. The fragmentation and disparities in the licensing process should also be reduced by standardizing training and necessary
competencies. This will also make it possible for different countries to recognize each other's licenses. The development and execution of high standards and protocols for air traffic controller training and evaluation are made possible through competency-based training. These high standards and practices will provide training and assessment feedback to help air traffic controllers get better.
