Comparative study of level of Job Satisfaction among Special Educators working in Special Schools & Resource Room set up in Inclusive schools of Kolkata, West Bengal

Abstract
Job satisfaction is a pleasant state that results from an evaluation of one's work. Special educators working with kids who have developmental difficulties were the subject of this study.Due to lack of job satisfaction, special teachers are leaving their jobs less frequently. Between Group Research Design has been used by the researcher. The Researcher has choosed 100 special educators (50 working in Special Schools as special educators and 50 working in Inclusive schools of SSA as special educators) as a sample. The age of the respondents ranged from 20 – 38 years. Those special educators having 0-5 years’ experience were selected. For this study self-developed questionnaire intent to assess the opinion of special educators as a mark of their satisfaction towards the job. The scores obtained from the two groups were subjected to statistical analysis for the interpretation of the data obtained. The statistical procedures used in this study for the interpretation of job satisfaction level are Measures of Central Tendency (i.e. Mean), Measures of Variability (i.e. Standard Deviation, S.D.), interpreted using the t-test and one way ANOVA. The study's main conclusionsstate that there is a fairly significant difference in the Degree of job satisfaction among the special teachers working in special schools &Resource Teachers working in Inclusive schools.
