Pages: 2735-2739
Abstract
This article explores the evolution of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) as a progressive private sector bank in India, emphasizing its commitment to customer satisfaction, community development, and financial stability. The survey evaluates TMB's service offerings and was carried out from Tirunelveli City with 159 respondents. While services like Depository Services and Electronic Banking receive high satisfaction, Loan and Credit Services show lower mean satisfaction and higher variability. The study recommends targeted surveys, improved communication, streamlined processes, customer education, and a feedback loop to address challenges. Training for support teams, service promotion, benchmarking, and technological updates are suggested for sustained success in the dynamic banking landscape.
