Abstract
Health parameter monitoring framework using Raspberry Pi implies the collection and transmission of
patient’s vital data taken through the health parameter sensors via IoT modernism. The sensor data which has been
collected will be helpful for the health professional under the critical conditions for the progression and
enhancement of patient’s health. The application phase is to carry out the undertaking consist of a Raspberry Pi and
vital parameter sensors equipped in a way to consult with the professional via the Internet of Things. This paper
analyses to review the previous work done and suggest the system to advance with monitor the basic patient vital
parameter condition from the isolated location. Through IoT, it has become exceedingly effortless for professionals
to standby the patient being in emergency situation where Raspberry Pi is used to assemble the continuous distant
patient health monitoring framework. In addition to this, here the condition of patient health for example heart beat,
body temperature, body weight and patient condition can be observed anytime and from anywhere, and if there is
any discrepancy in the normal values of health parameter, will be communicated to the health professional and the
patient’s family members.
