INTRODUCTION: Removable die systems are frequently used to facilitate the manipulation of dies during the laboratory phase of fixed prosthesis fabrication.'- However, the separation of individual dies from solid casts requires that they be replaced in precisely the same position that they had occupied prior to removal.Both the setting extension of the stone and the particular removable die system will influence pass on substitution exactness, and the development may make quantifiable movements in pass on position.The aim of the present study is to create awareness about various die systems used in prosthodontics among dental students.
