Abstract
Background: In the dental field, the use of fully adjustable articulators is very limited as it is a highly sophisticated instrument used for replication of mandibular movements. It reproduces more than one type of movement and has centric relationship, protrusive, retrusive movements and right lateral maxillomandibular relationships. It has a wide range of movements which helps in following a patient's border movements and greater the accuracy in reproducing mandibular movements, lesser the occlusal corrections will be required. Each pantograph is the graphic effect of breaking down threedimensional motion into its constituent parts in three dimensions. The initial motion is reproduced by simultaneously reproducing all three pantographs.
