Abstract
The research study investigated the interpretation of Open Innovation and assesses whether or not,
why and the way its miles embraced in the automotive Industry. This study is to enhance
the current empirical data based on a few studies in the field of Automobile Industry. All developing countries
rely heavily on Automobile Industry to grow their economies. The world total employment in this industry and
its associated industries exceeded fifteen percentage. Auto manufacturing and engine suppliers contribute
significantly to the government revenue across the globe. The automobile sector has a major influence on other
industries' and society's technical levels. Putting automobile manufacturing in contacts of a country, it would
rank 6th in terms of GDP. Business depend entirely on the employees for their success. The Automobile Industry
is no different. Employees are the key to success. Employees of an organization, who have a high sense of pride
and commitment can help boost productivity, quality, work environment, and business performance. They also
improve values and goals of an organization. Management must motivate the employees to contribute maximum
to organization’s success and productivity by making them involved in the business. Moreover, they boost their
sense of well-being by being more involved. Job autonomy is characterized by self-determination as it relates to
the work activities and decision-making.
