Abstract
This study aims to discover the level and relationship between Self-Regulated Behaviour and Achievement Motivation of the Higher Secondary School Students. This study was conducted on 840 higher secondary school students in Namakkal district. This study also found that there was a i) 23.2% of the higher secondary school students have low, 52.1% of them have average and 24.6% of them high level of Self-Regulated Behaviour. ii) 22.9% of the higher secondary school students have low, 53.9% of them have average and 23.2% of them high level of Achievement Motivation.. ii) There is significant relationship between Self-Regulated Behaviour and Achievement Motivation of Higher Secondary School Students. iii) There is significant difference between boys and girls of higher secondary school students in their Self- Regulated Behaviour and Achievement Motivation. iv) There is significant difference between Government and Self-Financing higher secondary students in their Self-Regulated Behaviour.v) There is no significant difference between rural and urban area higher secondary school students in their Achievement Motivation.vi) There is significant relationship between Self- Regulated Behaviour and Achievement Motivation of higher secondary school students.
