The objective of this study was to study the awareness of teacher trainees towards environment education on the basis of their gender and locale. In this study, 600 teacher trainees of Jaipur district were selected as a sample by simple random method. The survey method was used for this study; the researcher collected the data using a self-made questionnaire. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test. The obtained results showed that there is found no significant difference in the awareness of teacher trainees towards environment education on the basis of their gender but there is found significant difference in the awareness of teacher trainees towards environment education on the basis of their locale.
