It was the "Viduthalai" that first appeared in the newspaper in the early days on behalf of the Justice Party and continues to be published now. The newspaper is proud of its several triumphs in favour of Tamils. It is sung in support of Tamil education and employment. Tamilnadu also battled for the Tamils and the Communal Representation Act, as well as for a socialist and aggressive anti-Hindi strategy.
