Abstract
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was first reported by the World Health
Organization on 31 December 2019, later it was declared a global pandemic on 12 March 2020. To date, it is a great challenge to the world including India. The level of knowledge of the community people regarding COVID-19varies with the geographical site in the world. In the rural and urban part of India, the communities' residents may notice themselves as high risk of acquiring COVID-19 and negligence of the prevention method is visible community gathering is experienced as usual. Therefore, assessing knowledge of COVID-19 and implementing interventions is mandatory in the different geographic areas of the country.
