Abstract
Introduction Selfitis or selfie addiction is a compulsive desire to take photos of oneself and post them on social media. It is observed that adolescents are more prone to selfitis. But, unfortunately, the condition remains unidentified. Perhaps, it leads to underlying mental health issues like narcissism, loneliness, lack of confidence, relationship breakdown. Unless treated, it can lead to significant disorders such as depression, substance abuse, and suicidal ideation.
