Abstract
Faculties are an important pillar for building any education institution. Faculty is the channel of implementing any institutional change and transformation process. The present study is a pilot study for exploring the arena of institutional environment. The objective was to provide key findings and suggestions for ensuring cordial working environment which enhances teaching effectiveness. In this study questionnaire was filled from 100 faculties working as faculties in private higher education institutions in Rajasthan. The study finds that faculties choose teaching at a priority because they are passionate about this profession. The study also reveals that the faculty having more than 10 years of work experience felt the autonomy in class without any interference by the higher authorities. The findings of this research can be used to build models on Teaching Effectivenes
